Helen on TV: Poirot Weekend, ITV3

For digital viewers: If you missed it first time around or fancy seeing it again, the Poirot mystery that Helen filmed several years ago is on TV this weekend. As part of their Poirot Weekend ITV3 are showing episodes of Poirot back-to-back tomorrow and Sunday (4th and 5th November). Lord Edgware Dies (first shown in 2000) starring Helen as Lady Edgware, will be shown at 1:05pm on November 5th.

“Respectable” info and airdate

HGuk can confirm that the first series of Respectable will be shown in six weekly episodes starting on Wednesday August 30th at 10:30pm on Five.

The sitcom depicts the trials and tribulations of four cross-generational women working in a suburban brothel - the centrepiece being the burgeoning romance between hen-pecked husband Michael and nice-but-dim streetwalker Hayley. Helen plays the regular role of Michael’s wife Pippa, who is, you can guess, a bit of a handful - in the strictly pejorative sense of the word…

Respectable at the Edinburgh Television Festival

The new sitcom Respectable, which Helen filmed earlier this year, will be screened at the Media Guardian Edinburgh Television Festival later this month. A joint venture between Channel Five, Paramount Comedy and Silver River Productions, the show makes its debut on Five in the early Autumn. The Festival runs from the 25th-27th August.
